Don’t Tone Alone offers a series of interactive workshops and training events addressing health and well-being issues that stimulate mind, body and soul of those that attend. We will get you moving more, thinking positively, and feeling inspired through lunch time tasters, half-day workshops or full day events. We provide the following workshops :

Breaking Down Barriers to Health and Fitness

We all know that it’s important to be physically active and to eat well. We are all aware of the dangers of not exercising and consuming excess food and drink. Sometimes to take the next step to improved health just seems too difficult. Its benefits seem to conflicting to the short-term “reward”.

In this workshop Don’t Tone Alone shows you how to take subtle, sustainable, and effective action to slowly becoming that version of you that feels better, and is taking control of your exercise habits. All food is good food so rather than prescribe meaningless diets and meal plans, and tell you what to do, we will provide you with knowledge, awareness and techniques to make healthy choices.

Our weight management courses are nutritious for mind and body. From a mindfulness approach, you will be able to eliminate destructive eating habits and gain control over your nutrition leading to a healthier and happier lifestyle. We will show you how to make the right decisions so that when faced with eating out for business or pleasure, you enjoy the occasion rather than worry about your waistline.

How many times do we feel overwhelmed and stressed? How many times do we stop and become more aware, of what we are doing with our time, how we treat others, and what is truly adding value to our own lives?

With Don’t Tone Alone’s mindfulness courses, we will empower you to be that little more patient, a little less stressed, and much more composed when life throws its
multitude of challenges at you.

You will practice techniques such as focused imagery, guided meditation, and relaxation, to improve mental well-being, and quite literally change your perspective on life to become happier and healthier.
Every service Don’t Tone Alone runs has a background in mindfulness. However, it is so important, it has its own series of workshops!!

Exercise and Physical Activity

These workshops are designed to strip away myths about exercise and show attendees how to move more using basic principles of exercise. We will look at goal setting and how to make small changes for success.

You are invited to get your heart pumping and limbs moving as Don’t Tone Alone will take your hand and guide you through effective and sustainable exercise planning for improved health and well-being. As with all our workshops, by the end of this session you will have a specific and realistic goal in your sights to achieve.

Body Image: The way we view our bodies

Our bodies and the way we look at them is core to our identity and self-esteem. The language we use about our bodies and the influence of our social, economic and physical environments may destroy or inflate a person’s ego. It will effect their interactions in the world around them and ultimately their health. This workshop is about appreciating and respecting your body. We will show you what sources to actually look at for the right information about health and well-being rather than social media and commercial websites. You will appreciate the power of words and how you speak about the human form can help you maintain control or throw away a sense of self, detrimental to your character. Join us for a session were you will feel grateful and empowered to do more with the body you have.

Ageing and Well-Being

As people age throughout life they experience new things about themselves and others. These workshops are designed to keep this process going along the health and well-being journey. Workshops here touch on keeping exercise going in your own home to maintaining social health.
