Don’t Tone Alone CIC offers innovative weight management courses, in person and over the phone which empower individuals and community groups to take control of their eating habits and become fitter and healthier.

Don’t Tone Alone C.I.C.’s Fit by Phone is an innovative telephone-based nutrition and weight management course, which empowers beneficiaries to take control of their eating habits to become fitter and healthier.

The course teaches participants how to recognise unhealthy triggers in their lives and manage their weight, not through strict dieting, but being more mindful of the food and how it is eaten.

Fit by Phone runs over 6 weeks and takes the format of a teleconference of between 3 to 6 people including a Don’t Tone Alone C.I.C. weight management trainer. Each participant dials into the teleconference at a pre-arranged time, once each week, taking part in an interactive group, sharing support and advice. Participants are given a one-to-one consultation before and after taking part in the course. Beneficiaries are also provided with training information, resource materials, and a certificate of completion after they have completed the Fit By Phone course.
